Biography

Type-setter of French film musics impossible to circumvent in the years 1960 and 1970. From traditional formation, but from a very open musical spirit, it passes from the concrete music to the variety (it accompanies in particular Henri Salvador), then with the film music. One owes him in particular the series of the Angélique , but also the Uncles flingueurs , the Secret agents , Fantômas , Galia , the Monocle laughs yellow , and the musics of first films of Jean Yanne ( Everyone it is beautiful , Me y' has some to want under , the Chinese in Paris )…

By installing a professional structure of recording in the roofs of its house of Hérouville, it creates in 1969 the concept of residential studio, very imitated in the Anglo-Saxon countries (The Manor, in particular). Legal problems born of the transfer of the castle of Hérouville lead it to the suicide, at the end of 1984.
