Michel Honore Vincelot

The canon Michel Honore Vincelot is a ornithologist amateur French, born in 1815 and died in 1877.

  • 1855 : Synoptic table to be used with the study of ornithology and oology as Maine-et-Loire, Yearly of the Company linnéenne of the department of Maine-et-Loire .
  • 1859 : etymological Tests on the ornithology of Maine-et-Loire, or Manners of the birds explained by their names (impr. from Cosnier and Lachèse, Angers) - republished as a nouveau riche in 1865.
  • 1867 : Names of the birds explained by their manners, or Tests etymological on ornithology (4 volumes, impr. of P. Lachèse, Belleuvre and Dolbeau, Angers) - third entirely remelted edition of the preceding work.
  • 1868 : Rehabilitation of the green woodpecker, or Answer to the observations of an owner on the utility of the peak in Anjou, Yearly of the Company linnéenne of Maine-et-Loire - republished in 1869 in agricultural Librairie of the rustic House (Paris).
  • 1874 : A tentative a refutation of the theories darwiniennes on the origin of the man (impr. of P. Lachèse, Belleuvre and Dolbeau, Angers).
