Michel Hidalgo , born the March 22nd 1933 with Leffrinckoucke (Northern) is a former international player and trainer French of Football which evolved/moved at the station of recuperator medium, before being reconverted as trainer. He was selector of the team of France, champion of Europe in 1984.
Biography
Native of North because of professional displacements of his father, Michel Hidalgo grows in Normandy. With the US Norman, he is champion of Normandy juniors 1952. He then joined Le Havre AC for two seasons, then the Stade of Rheims where he disputes in particular the final of the first Coupe of Europe of the clubs champions in 1956 vis-a-vis the Real Madrid, there marking even the third goal rémois (final score 3-4).Recruited by the ACE Monaco in 1957, it takes share with the emergence of a competitive team to the foot of the Rock, where it gains two new national titles and two Cuts of France. Hidalgo is named selector of the team of France of football on March 27th, 1976 to replace Stefan Kovacs, at one time when France fails invariably in eliminating heats of the great international tournaments. He inculcates in the Bleus his principles of an open play centered on the offensive and, helped by the blossoming of Michel Platini, writes a gilded page of the history of French football. After twelve years of absence, Hidalgo qualifies finally France for a final stage of World cup in 1978, but fails the first tower vis-a-vis Argentina and Italy. Rise to power continues however and Hidalgo, being pressed on a solid Stéphano-Nantes framework, leads the national team to the Football world cup of 1982 and the legendary semi-final of Seville lost with the shootings with the goal vis-a-vis in FRG. June 27th, 1984, finally, it is the dedication: Hidalgo gives to France its first international title with the victory with the Euro 1984, in residence, vis-a-vis Spain (2-0 finally with the Parc of the Princes). For arriving from there there, it was necessary to pass by a new semi-final of anthology to Marseilles, gained 3-2 vis-a-vis Portugal at the last minute of the prolongation. It makes its return like selector in 2004 with the national team of Congo .

In 2006, at the request of the Professional football league, Michel Hidalgo submits a report with 6 proposals to increase the number of goals marked in the championship of France:-
Points for a tie with goals: 3 points for a victory, 2 points for a tie with goals, 1 point for a tie 0 to 0, any point for a defeat
- Points for the opening of the score in a tie: 3 points for a victory, 2 points for the team which marked in first in a tie, 1 point for a tie, no point for a defeat
- Suppression of the tie: if the score is null after 90 minutes, one carries out the shootings with the goal: 4 or 3 points for a victory, 2 points for a victory with the shootings with the goal, 1 point for a defeat with the shootings with the goal, any point for a defeat
- offensive and defensive No-claims bonus: 5 points for a victory with more than 2 goals from variation, 4 points for a victory with at least 2 goals of variation, 3 points for a tie with goals, 2 points for a tie without goal, 1 point for a defeat per less than 2 goals of variation, any point for a defeat by 2 goals and more variation
- No-claims bonus for two goals of variation: 3 points for a victory by 2 goals or more variation, 2 points for a victory by 1 goal of variation, 1 point for a tie, any point for a defeat
- Application of the principle of the advantage of the matches return ticket as practiced out of Cut of Europe: 1 point of additional no-claims bonus at the conclusion of the return match to the team which, on all both matches, will have marked the most goals with the rule of the goals marked outside. In the event of perfect equality, shootings with the goal would decide between the two teams.
But to date (August 2007), none of these proposals was applied in the championship France.
