Michel Herland , born in 1945, is former student of the school of the High Commercial Studies (HEC, promotion 1967), aggregate of the economic techniques of management, science doctor economic of the Université Paris-Dauphine (1974), Professor of the universities, former vice-rector of New Caledonia. He currently teaches with the Université Antille-Guyana in Martinique.

He is the author of very many articles relating in particular to the history of the economic doctrines. He collaborates regularly in Agoravox. He is member of the leading committee of the mondesfrancophones.com site and Co-editor of his space " Économies".
