Michel Godard , born in 1960 Héricourt (Belfort) is a French musician.

Type-setter and sandhog, it largely contributed to leave the tuba its role by using techniques of Didjeridoo on its tuba, for example, or by playing the parts of violins, in particular the parts of the soloist, the Four Seasons of Vivaldi… In general, one hears the tuba of Michel Godard where it is not awaited. He also plays of the snake, instrument wind with mouth and keys (not of pistons!) of low tessiture, today very little used.

Its work locates at the border of the classical music, the modern music and the jazz. One often finds it at the sides of Rabih Abou-Khalil, of Renaud Garcia Fons.
