Michel Giès is a Director French.

In 1984, it puts in scene the Tales of Hoffmann at Seoul (Korea), then it goes up to France Norma (Nantes, 1986), Mignon (Metz, Tours, Avignon 1988,1990) and the Voices of the Seraglio (Festival of Carpentras, 1992).

From 1989, it gets busy to make known, by its productions, the French repertory: Manon (Seoul, Korea, 1989), Carmen (Poland, 1991), Samson and Dalila (Karkhov, Ukraine, 1993), Tales of Hoffmann (new production; Seoul, Korea, 1995), Parisian life (Hong-Kong, 1996). It also puts in scene contemporary creation: Anas-El-Wogood (Aziz El-Shawan, world creation; Cairo, Egypt, 1996).

It created many spectacles of songs and French melodies: French Style (spectacle of cabaret: Philadelphia, the USA, and turned to the United States, 1993), Fauna and Flore (according to melodies of Poulenc, Ravel, Satie, Emmanuel Chabrier; Lisbon, round in Portugal, 2001 - Macao, Hong-Kong, 2002 - Paris, the Barge Operated, 2004), Of Love and Humor (creation scenic on musics of Satie, Poulenc, Jules Massenet… and texts of Choderlos de Laclos, Stendhal, Anouilh…; Opera of Turns, 2005; round in France, 2006), " Sparrow, has Hymn to Love" (English spectacle, round, 2006). He made redécouvrir delirious “scarcities” of Jacques Offenbach: magic Fifre (Opera-studio of Oporto, 2005), Offenbach, Cara + Fresca of the Opera (spectacle made up of the electromagnetic Lesson of Song and the magic Fifre , Andorra, 2005).
