Michel Forceps , born the March 6th 1942, is a Physicien French.

Former student of the National university of Saint-Cloud (sciences), he is director of the linear accelerator of particles of 1985 to 1994. Prize winner of the Price Gentner-Kastler in 1994, it is elected member of the Academy of Science (physical section) in 1996.

He teaches physics since 1975 with the Université Paris-South in the scientific Center of Orsay. He is known near his pupils for his simplicity, his pedagogy and his devotion.
