Michel Flaring

Michel Brulé was militant a communist and resistant French (1912 - 1942).

Minor in the puit Dahomey, it is stopped by German on February 21st, 1941 after having taken once again the word to denounce the work conditions. He is released on February 25th whereas the strike to require his release starts to extend.

He is at the origin with Julien Hapiot of the strike of the minors which will last from May 26th to June 10th, 1941 and which will extend in all the basin from North and the Pas-de-Calais. 100  000 minors stop work. Repression will be bloody but the occupant will yield nevertheless on the principal claims.

Michel Brulé becomes clandestine and enters the Bataillons of Youth. He left fascinating many attacks against the occupant. He is stopped in November 1941, and is shot on April 14th, 1942 at the height of the gallant green with Wambrechies
