Michel Ferté (born the December 8th 1958 with Cliff) is a French racing driver. He is the brother of Alain Ferté.

Biography

He begins his career from pilot at the beginning of the Années 1980. Its course in the single-seater (F3, F2, F3000) was marked out many successes. Test pilot in Formula 1 at Ligier during three seasons, it then decides to test himself with other categories (Super tourism, IMSA, Trophée Andros, WP, Sport-Prototypes) with the same success. Its versatility and its speed make the difficult right man for the job of it. In 1997, Michel, create his own struture and engage a Ferrari 333 SP in competition. This year, the results will not be made wait with two Pole position and a podium. In 1998, it will be the year of contrasts. Michel and his Ferrari will still make speak about them, and yet it will be also the stop of this project (after a participation in the 24 hours of Mans), the car proving to be of a too high maintenance for existing stucture. Michel then takes again his combination of pilot to roll with Henri Pescarolo and P. Gay in 1999 and qualifies the Courage Porsche with the 24 Hours of Mans to finish 9th with the general on arrival of the race.
