Michel Felix Dunal

Michel Felix Dunal is a Botaniste and mycologist French, born in 1789 with Montpellier and died in 1856 in this same city.

He studies the Botanique near Augustin Pyrame de Candolle (1778-1841) and becomes professor of botany in Montpellier. He holds the pulpit of medical Natural history of 1816 with 1816.

The Dunalia in of the Solanaceae was dedicated to him. Its work on the kind Solanum is particularly known in particular thanks to its generumque Solanorum affinium Synopsis seu Solanorum Historiae, editionis secundae summarium AD characteres differentiales redactum, seriem naturalem, habitationes stationesque specierum breviter indicans published with Montpellier in 1816.
