Michel Duke-Goninaz

Michel Duke-Goninaz (born the September 6th 1933 with Paris) is universally known for its revision, in 2002, of the Plena Ilustrita Vortaro , the dictionary of reference in Esperanto directed by step Gaston Waringhien.

Member of Esperanto-Youths as of the Years 1950, it coéditait at the time Folieto , especially read by the young esperantists of Île-de-France.

During long years, he was lecturer in Russian and Esperanto with the Université of Provence (Aix-en-Provence). He was in particular the author of an French-Esperanto lexicon gathering the vocabulary by topic.

He was the author of a play in Esperanto: Ŝtona Gasto ( the guest of Pierre adapted Pouchkine). It also translated for the Foreigner of Camus into Esperanto like the News dreamed of Arthur Schnitzler.

Michel Duke-Goninaz is today lecturer to the international Académie of sciences of San Marino and collaborates in the magazine espérantophe Monato .

Michel Duc Goninaz was elected in 2002, Esperantiste of the year by the review Ondo of Esperanto for his work completed with Claude Roux to revise the Plena Ilustrita Vortaro .
