Michel Drucker (September 12th 1942 with Transfers, Calvados -) is a TV host French. He is an emblematic figure of the French Audiovisual landscape.

Biography

Michel Drucker began his career with ORTF. In 1965, it integrates the large house of the radio as deferring and sporting commentator, employment which it preserves during years. Of 1965 with 1973, it holds the sports column of the Tv news and is essential like the official commentator of the events footballistic (World cups and great French meetings…) and in 1972, it animates Sport celebrates of it on the first chain of the ORTF.

Two years later, Michele Arnaud convinces it to direct its career towards the variety. It connects the emissions like the appointments of Sunday , Fields-Elysées , Stars 90 , Ciné Stars , Drôles stars , Studio Gabriel , Faites the festival or Drucker and Co which is essential like emissions headlights of the audiovisual landscape and confers a popular notoriety to him.

Since 1998, it coproduit and animates Vivement Sunday! and Highly next Sunday each Sunday afternoon on France 2. Experienced presenter, it animates prestigious emissions such as the Nuit of Molières, the Césars, the Victoires of the music, the evenings of midnight suppers… Michel Drucker is also the author of seven books and three novels. Since September 2006, it animates Evening dress .

Family

Michel Drucker is the son of Abraham Drucker, Jew native of Davideni into current Romania then in Austria-Hungary, and Lola Schafler, Jewish of origin Viennese, made to France in 1925 French and naturalized in the years 1930. His/her father settled as country doctor in the Apple-brandy.

He is the brother of Jean Drucker, the husband of the actress Dany Saval and the uncle of the journalist Marie Drucker and the actress Lea Drucker.

He Marie with Las Vegas and Dany Saval thus offers his Stéphanie daughter to him, whom she had with the type-setter Maurice Jarre. Stéphanie is decorator of plate of television (in particular those of Michel).

Anecdocte

In 1960, it has to carry out its military service with the camp of Royallieu of Compiegne; the same one where, during the war, his/her Abraham father was imprisoned.

At summer 42, his/her father had been arrété on denunciation, his mother, enclosure of him, with his Jean brother is made control on the station platform of Rennes by an officer of Gestapo. A traveller intervenes then whom she does not know, Pierre Lay (father of Patrick Lelay) which in impeccable German discusses with the German officer and says to him that it is about his wife, saving thus probably the life to them.
