Michel Desjoyeaux

Michel Desjoyeaux is a navigator French, born the July 16th 1965 with Concarneau.

With more than 25 victories to his credit, Michel Desjoyeaux is one of the most titrated navigators as a recluse. Eclectic navigator, trained with dimensions of Eric Tabarly on Dimension-in Or in race around the world, the Whitbread at 20 years, it took part in the Tour de France with the Veil, and the first generations of multihulls, formulas 40 (Cookies Cantereau, Crédit Agricole… and the hydrofoil). Since 1990 and its first Barber, it sails as well on these " petits" monotypes as a recluse, that on the trimarans of 60 feet (Giant) or the monoshells of Vendée Globe (PRB). It founded in spring 1999 a racing stable to broad, Agitated Mer .

Michel Desjoyeaux is currently skipper monoshell 60 feet FONCIA with which it will take part in Vendée Globe 2008: for the first exit of the boat, it gained Record SNSM (Saint-Nazaire - Saint-Malo) Site of Record SNSM.

It involves with the Forest-Fouesnant, close to the center of national drive for the race with the broad one.
