Michel Denisot

Michel Denisot is a producing Journaliste, stimulating of Télévision and leader of Télévision and football clubs, born on April 16th, 1945.

Biography

It is born on April 16th, 1945 with Buzançais to 20 km in the west from Chateauroux in the Indre. His/her father dies whereas it is only 5 years old.

Career

Journalist of the ORTF

At the 15 years age, it begins its career from Journaliste as a correspondent Pigiste of the local newspaper with Chateauroux, then starting from 1968, Pigiste at the regional station of ORTF of Limoges.

Journalist of TF1

In 1972, it leaves its province and joined the first chain of the ORTF to Paris as “grouillot” (as it said itself). It carries then the Café S (or the Jus of orange…) with Jean Lanzi and others Jean-Pierre Elkabbach.

In 1973 it takes part in the news third chain of the ORTF before returning on TF1 in 1975 where it coprésente the Tv news 13 hour old (JT) with Yves Mourousi and Claude Pierrard for 30 months.

In 1977 it successfully passes to the service sports of TF1. Choice of heart, while animating in particular starting from 1981, the emission Téléfoot with Thierry Roland and by ensuring the comment of the large posters of TF1. He comments on the first meeting (and victory) of PSG diffused with the Télévision (final of Coupe de France 1982 PSG - St-Etienne).

Journalist of Canal+

In 1984, it leaves TF1 on arrival of Herve Bourges for Canal+, the new encrypted chain of André Rousselet with Pierre Lescure and Charles Biétry as a producer presenter of emission with Zenith (1985 - 1987), My Zenith with me (1987 - 1992), Journal of the cinema , Télés Sunday (with like new chronicler Marc-Olivier Fogiel), Demain (1988 - 1990), the Big family (1990 with 1991 before leaving its place to the new presenter Jean-Luc Delarue), TVS Sunday (1992 - 1996), Besides (1996 - 1998).

Leader of Football club - LB Chateauroux and PSG

In June 1991, this large impassioned Football becomes the president of the football club of Chateauroux (Berrichonne of Chateauroux) of Ligue 2 and chair successfully deputy Paris Saint (PSG) German of Ligue 1. Also impassioned Cinema, it produces the ceremonies of Césars of the cinema and the emissions of the Cannes festival.

In 1998 it is replaced with the presidency of PSG by Charles Biétry with an excellent prize list with the head of this team which gains a championship of France and several Cuts. He becomes director of the sports of Canal+, administrator of TVSports and chair Eurosport France.

Managing director of the programs of Canal+ and CanalSat

In 2001 he becomes managing director of the programs of the chain before a painful Social plan of reorganization.

In July 2002, the group Vivendi Universal (owner of Canal+) is at the edge of the Banqueroute with a countable loss abyssal of 23 billion euros (record of debt for a French Entreprise after France Telecom and its 70 billion euros of debt) and its chairman Jean-Marie Messier is laid off. Michel Denisot becomes president of the specialized channel Sport+ satellite bouquet Canal of which it takes then the direction of the chains MultiThématiques. He becomes also president of I Tele

In 2004 he is executive vice president of the Groupe Canal Plus of Bertrand Méheut, and as from September, he animates successfully the Talk daily show the Large Newspaper and the large newspaper the continuation starting from 19:00 with the chroniclers Isabelle Morini-Bosc, Tania Bruna-Rosso and Laurent Weil then with ARIANE Massenet and Frederic Beigbeder starting from the re-entry 2005. An emission equipped with an annual budget of 40 million euros.

Michel Denisot has six racehorses and product of the Vin in the Loire Valley with Valençay where it has a vineyard of 4 Hectare S.

At the base of this success, a rather exceptional relation with the players. The other side of the coin is however of size. Denisot forever really understood that a football club was not limited only to its flag team and fault of having equipped the PSG with solid foundations, very collapsed like an house of cards in a few weeks. Its silence at the time of the business of the “title” of 1993, refused by the club in the name of the superior interests of Canal+, also weighs (very) heavy in the balance.

Berrichon of birth and heart, it saves by twice the club castelroussin of the abandonment. Its experiment in Berrichonne is determining in its nomination with the head of PSG in June 1991. Its ousting is on the other hand more nebulous… Charles Biétry piaffait of impatience while the pressure on Pierre Lescure, wedged between the Puppets of information and the race with the results, was considerable. Trophies gained at the end of the season 1997 - 1998 are able too late to save the head of president Denisot… his fate was played as of mid- February 1998.
