Michel Cusson

Michel Cusson (January 22nd 1957 with Drummondville, Quebec -) is a Compositeur and Musicien Québécois. Before composing regularly of the film music, he was member of the group of Jazz UZEB with Alain Charon and Paul Brochu.

Biography

Type-setter, guitarist and musician touch-with-all, Michel cut his place among large Québécois cinema and devote themselves from now on to his greater history of love: the composition of musical screens. The compositions of Michel Cusson for the cinema attest its passion for the musics of all the kinds. They raised the bar of the standards of industry in Quebec, quickly doing to him one of the type-setters more in request in Canada.

Michel composed the music of an imposing quantity of cinematographic works. Among films, let us quote Aurore of Luc Dionne, In a galaxy close to on your premise of Claude Desrosiers, Monica the grapeshot of Pierre Houle, Séraphin: a man and his sin of Charles Binamé, Maurice Richard of Charles Binamé, the Collector of Jean Beaudin. For the documentary ones, let us quote Volcanoes off the Deep Sea (IMAX) and Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag of Stephen Low. It also took part in several projects, of which My First Wedding in the United Kingdom, Père and wire of Michel Boujenah in France and Metallic Blues of Danny Verete in Israel.

It has several méga-spectacles with its credit, of which Cavalia and Fantastic Legends of Normand Latourelle, and very recently, that of Shanghai ( ERA: Intersection off Time of Érick Villeneuve)

In 1997, it took part in the spectacles of the round G3 (group) of Montreal and Quebec at the sides of the guitarists virtuosos Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.
