Michel Bernard (born in 1943), polytechnician and Engineer of the civil aviation, is director of the National agency for employment since October 1995.
Pure produced French administration, Michel Bernard made career in the administration and the direction of nationalized companies. After having occupied several positions of responsibility within the Head office of the Civil aviation, it is named by it director in 1993.
Meanwhile, he is Directeur of the business acquaintances to the SNECMA, Directeur with Air France and chairman of Air Inter of November 1993 in March 1995 when he resigns, denouncing the " catégorielles protections passéistes" which the trade unions cling.
He was Managing director of the ANPE of 1995 to 2005 (its predecessor was Michel Bon, its successor Christian Charpy).
Since October 1995, Michel Bernard is Chairman of the board of FASILD (Funds of assistance and support for integration and the fight against discriminations).
Michel Bernard is currently president of association Cultures of the Heart which works for the fight against exclusion by supporting the access to the cultural and sporting events.
