Michael Rensing joined the Bayern Munich in 2000 coming from the club of her birthplace, TuS Lingen, in order to confirm her talent in the teams of young people of the club.

After having spent the season 2002 - 2003 in the third German division with the team holds Bayern Munich, it made its first appearance in Bundesliga the February 21st 2004. Rensing played the whole match and Bayern was essential 1-0 against the Hamburg SV. It also kept its inviolate cage at the time of its second match against Schalke 04.

During the season 2004 - 2005, Rensing proved that it was perfectly able to replace Oliver Kahn by signing superb performances at the time of two matches of Bundesliga which it played in entirety, taking part in the victories of Bayern against FC Kaiserslautern (4-0) and the 1.FSV Mainz 05 (4-2).

It took part in six matches of Bundesliga at the time of the season 2005 - 2006.
