Michael Nyman
Michael Nyman , born with London the March 23rd 1944, is a Compositeur, Pianiste, Librettiste and Musicologue English.
He is particularly known to have composed the major part of the musics of the films of Peter Greenaway. Its style, often inspired by traditional type-setters, such Henry Purcell (for Murder in an English garden ) or Mozart, is known as minimalist. He collaborates with the pop singer Damon Albarn (of the group Blur) on the development of the music of the film Vorace of Antonia Bird (1999).
