Michael Laitman
Michael Laitman (born the August 31st 1946 with Vitebsk in Bielorussia) graduate of a Doctorate in Philosophy and of a Control of biocybernetic, is a Scientifique, kabbalist, Professor of Ontologie and Theory of Knowledge. He is the founder of the research institute and Teaching of the Cabal Bnei Baruch as well as Research institute Ashlag (ARI).
Author of about thirty books published in more than five languages, its works are based on the traditional writings of the Cabal, in particular the writings of the Baal HaSoulam and seek to have in a language more accessible to the man of the twentieth century wisdom several times thousand-year-old of the Cabal.
Course
In 1970, Michael Laitman obtained her control into biocybernetic Polytechnic University of St Pétersbourg. At the time of its studies it undertook research in the Research institute of the Blood, specialized in the electromagnetic regulation of blood in the heart and the brain. He flees the USSR in 1972 and immigrated in Israel, he is married and father of three children.In 1976, it started to study the Cabal. In 1979, it met the Rav Baruch Shalom HaLévi Ashlag (1906-1991), the oldest son and successor of the Rav Yéhouda Leib Halévi Ashlag (1884-1954), also known under the name of the Baal HaSoulam for its comment on the book of the Zohar.
When Rav Baruch Ashlag died, one published in an orthodoxe newspaper HaModia, “the largest kabbalist of our times is deceased in the arms of his faithful studied Michael Laitman”. In the orthodoxe Judaism, the faithful student is regarded as the authentic continuator of his professor.
After the death of Rav Baruch Ashlag in 1991, Michael Laitman started to teach, according to the method of Yéhouda Ashlag that had transmitted to his/her son. It founded Bnei Baruch (“wire of Baruch” in the honor of Rav Baruch Ashlag), an association of which the goal is to teach the Cabal with all those wishing it, without any discrimination.
Michael Laitman presented her thesis of Philosophy to the Institute of Philosophy of Moscow to the Russian Academy of Science in 2004. It receipt also the title of professor d' Ontologie and Theory of Knowledge on behalf of the same institute.
In 2005, he became member of World Wisdom Council and the Club of Budapest, organization joining together scientific and personalities public in efforts to solve the total problems of modern civilization.
