Michael Kelly

Michael Kelly , of her true name O' Kelly , born with Dublin the December 25th 1762 and deceased with Margate the October 9th 1826 is a singer of opera and Compositeur Irish.

One owes him an about sixty works: incidental music, operas, ballets, cantatas. Its opera Blue Beard will remain 26 years with the repertory.

He was also editor of music and theater director.

He attended Mozart and occurred in several of his operas. It was a Ténor, using only seldom the Falsetto.

It published a book of memories: Reminiscences .
