Michael John LaChiusa
Michael John LaChiusa (born in 1962) is a type-setter and librettist of musical comedies American. He is more known for the single sound of his chiefs of works of the post-modern school. He received five nominations for the Tony Awards for his libretto of Chronicle off has Death Foretold , and also the librettos of Marie Christine and The Wild Party (with George C. Wolfe), and also for his partitions of Marie Christine and The Wild Party .
He is assistant professor with the school of Tisch arts of New York University for the program of " Musical Graduate Writing" Theater;.
LaChiusa is also the recipient of several nominations for Drama Desk Awards, including those for its words in the musical comedy See What I Wanna See based on the history Rashomon of Ryunosuke Akutagawa, the partition of See What I Wanna See , the partition of Chronicle off has Death Foretold , libretto of Hello Again , the words of Hello Again and the partition of Hello Again .
