Michael Franks

Michael Franks is a singer/composer-songwriter states-unien born in 1944, with La Jolla, in California. Its style evolves/moves between pop and Jazz. It started while playing of the Folk rock'n'roll while being accompanied by its guitar and studied the music at the university of Oregon, where it also exempted courses of music. After having carried out an album éponyme, it signed a contract with Warner Bros. Records. Its music is the prototype of this pop Californian whom one calls Soft rock'n'roll, with in particular the presence of many famous musicians of studio on its albums, coming mainly from the medium of the Jazz fusion. Michael Franks recorded more than one about fifteen albums.
