Michael Benjamin Bay (born the February 17th 1965) is an American realizer .

Micheal Bay is a realizer " clippeur". I.e. it made career in the world of the clip and publicity before turning then to the cinema. The implications stylistics of its statute of clippor are numerous: the assembly is very fast, the movements of camera are very drawn, very precise, and very often the images have a rather particular visual side (saturated colors, filters, etc).

A star of the boxoffice

Micheal Bay led the major part of its career in.liaison.with Jerry Bruckheimer, the famous American producer as being one of ready to manage the large productions mainly action. The totality of films of the duet Bay/Bruckheimer were at least profitable , if they are not very lucrative ( Armageddon ). In 2005, Bay innovates while separating from Bruckheimer the time of The Island , produced by the team of Dreamworks. In the United States - all at least - the film is a commercial failure. That does not prevent the realizer from piling up again with Dreamworks for the adaptation of the famous cartoon of the Années 1980 Transformers drawn from the line of toys of the same name.
