Michael Balint

Michael Balint is a Psychanalyste, of Hungarian origin , born in 1896 with Budapest died in England in 1970. It was influenced by Sándor Ferenczi, by Karl Abraham in Berlin where it also bound with Melanie Klein. It carries out a second analysis its with Ferenczi in Budapest where it directs the polyclinic of Psychothérapie. In Great Britain, it became one of most important among the members of “third the English group” (with Donald Winnicott). He is also the inventor of the “balint groups”, which are an important tool of supervision, deliberation on the relation doctor-patient and, by extension, of regulation at all the health professionals and professionals of the relation.
