Michael Baigent is a writer New Zealand, born in New Zealand in 1948. It obtained a diploma of psychology of Canterbury University in Christchurch. Since 1976, it lives with the the United Kingdom. He wrote Ancient Traces and From the Owens off Babilon . He joined to the authors Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln to write two best-seller international, The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail and his continuation The messianic legacy ( the message ).

In collaboration with Leight, he wrote The Temple and the lodge ( Of the templiers to the freemasons ), The dead sea scrolls , Secret Germany and The Elixir and the Stone . Their last book is The Inquisition .
