Michael Badnarik

Michael Badnarik , born the 1954, is an engineer in software Génie and American Politician , member of the Parti libertarien.

Biography

Michael Badnarik was born Slovak immigrant parents in Hammond, in Indiana. During its youth it is voluntary in the Red Cross and team leader scouts. It starts studies of chemistry at the university of Indiana but gives up its studies one six-month period before the end of sound dismantles (Doctorate). He then becomes programmer in the sector of the nuclear power, occupying several stations in various states of the country.

In 1997 it leaves California to protest against the laws on the wearing of firearms adopted then by the state. It settles the same year in Texas.

He wrote a work of constitutional law defending philosophy libertarienne: Good To Be King: The Foundation off our Constitutional Freedom .

Political commitment

It engages in the Parti libertarien in the years 1990, defending a policy of minimum state from which the only role is to protect individual freedoms from the citizens. He is candidate in 2000 with the elections of the Senate texan and obtains 15.221 votes.

He gained the primary educations of the Parti libertarien vis-a-vis Aaron Russo and presents himself for the Parti libertarien to the presidential election of 2004. It formed a ticket with Richard Campagna, tickel elected at national convention libertarienne which was held from May 27th to 31st 2004 with Atlanta, Georgia. He finished in 4th position with 0,34% of the votes cast, just behind Ralph Nader, independent candidate. He had raised 1 million dollars for his countryside.

In November 2006, he was candidate with the Chambre of the representatives at the time of the general elections in the 10th District of the Texas. During its countryside he inter alia was opposed to the war of Iraq. He finished in 3rd position with 4,3% of the voices.
