Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif

Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif (December 25th 1949 with Lahore -) is a Pakistani politician , which was Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan twice, initially of November 1st 1990 with the July 18th 1993, and then of the February 17th 1997 with the October 12th 1999.

It is on this last date that it was reversed by the coup d'etat of the general Pervez Musharraf, current president of the country.

It was sent in exile one year later, in 2000, Saudi Arabia for a ten years minimum in order to avoid a judgment at the life imprisonment for embezzlement and corruption. Its judgment was cancelled by a stop of the Pakistani Supreme court in August 2007. Cash to benefit from the political difficulties which agitate the country, it returned from exile the September 10th 2007, but was réexpulsé at once in Saudi Arabia.
