The Coupe of North Africa of football is an old competition of Football. Created in 1930 under the aegis of the French federation of football and on the model of the Coupe de France, it opposed many clubs of the five leagues of North Africa: Morocco, Tunisia, Algiers, Oran and Constantine.
This challenge which was an immense popular success disappears in 1956. Since 1954, the clubs of North Africa are allowed to dispute the Coupe de France.
There existed also a Championnat of North Africa, set up in 1921.
