Mezzouna
Mezzouna is a city of center-is Tunisia located at the Eastern end of the mountainous alignment of the Gafsa mounts (with the foot of Djebel Neguelet culminating with 411 meters).
Attached to the Governorship of Sidi Bouzid, it constitutes a municipality of 6101 inhabitants and is the Chef-lieu of a delegation of 33.979 inhabitants.
She is in position of crossroads between the axis Sfax - Gafsa (road GP14) and centers it which connects Sidi Bouzid, chief town of the Gouvernorat, and Skhira on the Golfe of Gabès (40 kilometers in south-east).
Located on the final section of the Pipeline transporting the oil of Algeria towards the oil port of Skhira, it has the largest factory of Plasturgie of the country (Complex of the plastic of Mezzouna or CPM) in the process of Privatization in 2007.
The National park of Bouhedma is located at 25 kilometers in south-west in the djebel Bouhedma.
