Meyer Strong , born the April 25th 1906 with Britstown, Cape Province (South Africa) - died the January 27th 1983 with Cambridge (the United Kingdom), is a British anthropologist . It simultaneously continued a career of researcher specialized in Anthropologie social and cultural and a career of academic as professor of social anthropology in Cambridge.
Tallensi of the north of the Ghana were its privileged field of study. It also directed many collective works of which social Structures , African Système of thought and African Political systems in collaboration with E.E. Evans-Pritchard. This book is a document of political anthropology which tries the first classification of the systems and proposes a theorization of the models.
