Meyer Prinstein , born in 1878 in Russia and deceased the March 10th 1925, was an American athlete. Then child, his family emigrates with the the United States and settles with Syracuse (New York).

He gained the gold medal of triple jump to the Olympic Games of Paris. In 1900, it establishes new world records of the long jump with 7.50 m and gains the money medal, losing gold with the profit of Alvin Kraenzlein because it had been prevented from contributing by the authorities of Syracuse because the final proceeded one Sunday. With the Olympic Games of summer of 1904 with Saint Louis, it gained the long jump and triple jump, still finishing fifth of the 60 m and the 400 Mr. To the inserted Olympic Games of 1906 of Athens, it again gains gold with the long jump.
