Metyktire
The tribe Metyktire is a people of Brazilian Indians which lives in the reserve Menkregnoti on the basin of the river the Amazon These people was discovered in May 2007 and its manpower is estimated at 87 individuals. Metyktire belong to the people Kayapo, and speaks an antiquated version about the Kayapo language.
When he was discovered, these people had never had contact with civilization " occidentale". This is due to their localization in a reserve of 12,1 million Acre S, in a difficult zone of access due the dense Jungle and the absence of close rivers like transportation route. Metyktire are a sub-group of the tribe Kayapo, but they had not had a recent contact with them before two individuals visit a village Kayapo in May 2007.
Kayapo think that Metyktire result from several families which settled far in the jungle in the Années 1950
