Metsovo
Metsovo (in Aroumain, Aminciu) is a city of the north of the Greece, in the prefecture of Ioannina, located at 1 160 meters of altitude on the mountains of the Pinde in the north of the Meteors.
Its inhabitants are of language Aroumain E.
During the Second world war, Metsovo was the capital of the Principauté of Pinde and Voïvodie of Macedonia.
Demography
Its population in 2001 is of 4 417 people.
