Metroid Precedes 2: Echoes is a Video game of subjective shooting, developed by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo, left on GameCube in 2004. It is the continuation of Metroid Prime , and belonged to the series Metroid .

Synopsis
A long time ago, a race of creatures called Luminoth, was installed on the planet Ether. They carried out a peaceful existence to it, bathed by the power of what they baptized the Ether Light. In order to prolong the life expectancy of planet, they decided to store this famous light in energy controllers whom they placed in three temples crowned for then all to connect them between them to a larger temple. But it is happy time were not going to last. One day they located a meteor which sank on their planet. Impotent they could only wait the day or it would be crushed. But Ing returned to make the war and did not delay has to take possession of the animals and of the friends, which forced Luminoth has to take again the combat. They created beacons of light which protected them from the atmosphere of Ether Sinks and faced Ing. But Luminoth could never overcome Ing on Dark Ether, just like the Ether Light prevented Ing to carry it on Ether. Luminoth thus créerent a module of Transfer of Energy to absorb Dark Ether but it was to fly and used against them Them Temples fell the ones after the others, it remained with final only the Large Temple which has enough energy to provide for the needs for only one world, last rampart preventing the end of the existence of Luminoth… "
This time, Samus will be found in a universe completely different from what she already saw. The history begins then which receives a mission of the Galactic Federation: “Locate the reported units missing on the Ether planet… Priority: High… ”. On the way towards this planet, its vessel is put out of order in the atmosphere and it is taken on planet. She will discover that the team of the Galactic Federation was exterminated by Ing. Later, during the play, Samus will take share of this conflict between Luminoth and Ing and will help Luminoth to regain their planet. Creatures
Ing
Ing play the part of principal enemies of Samus Aran throughout the play. Their source is unknown; in fact they appeared on Ether planet following the impact of a meteorite. This impact created a world parallel with planet, the world of Dark Ether. With this other dimension, these creatures came from the shade and thereafter a Great War between Luminoths, Ether residents, and Ings, inhabitants of Dark Ether.
These creatures of the shade do not have any pity, they attack all that is not related for them. There exist several kinds of Ing, Ings warriors, Ings hunters and even the Ing emperor to name only these.
