Metroid Fusion is a video game of action/ventures in 2D developed by Intelligent Systems and published in 2002 by Nintendo on Game Boy Advance.

History

In 20X5 a new form of life is discovered on planet SR388 by a vessel of exploration of the federation. It is about a parasite in lift in the air named " Métroide" able to absorb any form of energy.

This capacity attracted covetousnesses of the pirates of space who wanted to make a very powerful weapon of it to become the Masters of the universe. But Samus Aran destroys all the hopes of the pirates of space by beating their hierarchically superiors Ridley and Kraid and their sovereign, " Mother Brain" , which had been cut off from the Zèbes planet.

The army not being able to destroy Métroides which threatened the federation, Samus undertook some. Whereas its mission was almost finished it discovered a Métroide baby and catch of affection for him, it entrusted it to the space Academy of Science of the federation. After in-depth studies on this organization it was proven that it could serve humanity.

But all the pirates of space had not died and they seized this Métroide last. Samus set out again once again on the Zèbes planet to recover it, however during the final combat against Mother Brain, ressussity by the pirates of space using his genetic code, the Métroide baby sacrificed his life to save Samus! All the potential benefits of Métroides had disappeared.

Well later, on the planet SR388, Samus was elected by the Biométrix company to supervise a team of biologists charged to study local fauna. During the exploration of planet, a curious floating and gelatinous form of life was discovered; it was called " X" parasite;. Samus came into contact with this organization, nothing special did not occur, but by taking again its vessel, it was taken of a faintness and lost the control of its vessel which moved towards a belt of asteroids. The capsule of help started and it was brought back to the base in orbit around planet. The parasites " X" being multiplied in its combination and its organization, it fell into a deep coma and was repatriated on a basis of the federation. The only means found to save it was to create a vaccine starting from Métroides cells kept in culture in a laboratory. What went quasi-instantanément. Some time after, the research station in orbit around SR388 sent a hazard warning signal. Samus left at once…

Parasite X

Since Metroides were exterminated surface of SR388, X could develop, since Metroides were the only pet peeve of the parasite and dominated all other organic forms of life. Now being able to control the fauna and the flora of planet, X became the Masters of the system, and their desires for knowing, of power and of being able grew of day in day. Their organization is simple (a liquid compound having the capacity to revolve) and allows them to be filtered easily in organic fabric of the living beings, with share of course Metroides. This process enables them to copy the genetic code their victims, only means for them of surviving. After being itself suitable their DNA, they kill their hosts, for then taking their forms. This lifestyle cruel, and is made these parasites of the creatures as démoniaques as Metroides. Samus Aran was, one day, their victim…

The surgeons resorted to the radical method to save Samus. They first of all dissected certain bio-organics parts of the Costume of Power of Samus, made by Chozo, because they were contaminated by X. They then decided to create a Serum starting from a larva Metroide, sworn enemy of X. the remainders of its armor were sent on the Research station BSL, in orbit around SR388… Alarm resounds suddenly. Something of appalling occurred.
