Metric thread
The metric thread (or metric thread ISO , isometric threading , V thread ) is a Filetage which starts from a equilateral Triangle.
In the designation, the symbol of the metric thread is M .
It there several type of step: a large step and a step fin.
The indication of the step in designation, for the large step, is optional: if the step is not indicated, it is about a large step. Designation for a fine step is the letter S.
This type of threading is used the most, it is easiest to manufacture. It is a very good compromise.
