The method of the concomitant variations is applied in biology, especially in research.

Method

If ABC are the antécédants phenomenon P (or its concomitant), and if P becomes P1 when the series antécédante has becomes A1, P2 when has becomes A2, P3 when has becomes A3 and so on, then we are in right to say that there exists a relation of causality between has and P.

Theorization

John Stuart Mill describes it this manner: “a phenomenon which varies in a certain manner all the times that another phenomenon varies same manner, is or causes it or an effect of this phenomenon or is bound there by some fact of causation”.
