Method of Moore
The method of Moore is a method of Enseignement of mathematics named according to Robert Lee Moore which used a more extreme version of the modern version. Teaching is built mainly on the choices of the pupils. Instead of using schoolbooks, the pupils see themselves giving a list of Définition S and Théorème S which they must prove or to present in class.
The partisans of this method have the feeling which it wakes up in the pupil a deep comprehension of constructions and fundamental results that a simple listening would not be enough. Others support that this method cannot cover the whole of a program which traditional teaching covers.
