Meteorite of Diablo Canyon

The meteorite of Canyon Diablo was crushed on Earth there are 20 to 40.000 years. The impact formed the Cratère Barringer in the Arizona.

The Météorite is known by its fragments collected around the crater and near Canyon Diablo. It is a Octahédrite of sidéritique.

Its fragments were collected since the Années 1800, but they were already used by the Amerindian S during the Préhistoire.
