Metal Blade Records

Metal Blade is the oldest label metal. It was founded in 1981 by Brian Slagel. It specializes in the Death metal, the Black metal and the hardcore. It signed artists such as Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Cradle off Filth. It has branches a little everywhere in the world. With Nuclear Blast, Century Media and Roadrunner Records it divides the very lucrative market of metal. The label also contributed to make known the legendary group Metallica.
