Messier channel

The channel Messier is a channel located in Patagonie, with the Chile. It is directed north in the south between the island Wellington (as well as other Pacific Islands), and the continent, is limited to north by the Golfe of Penas. This channel was named in the honor of the Astronome French Charles Messier. It is a Fjord, with the Scandinavien direction of the term. A profonor of 1.288 meters was measured in the north of the channel, doing of him one of the deepest fjords in the world. The Messier channel is surrounded by the National park Bernardo O' Higgins and the Réserve national Katalalixar.
