Messas

Messas is a common French, located in the department of the Loiret and the area Center.

Geography

C' is a village in the shape of cross. The main street is nommee " Margottierre"

History

Old files, old notes and various documents, it results that, in the year 1489, under the reign of king Charles VIII, Messas was a large borough which depended partly on the parish of Baule.

The village of Baule was at that time set up in baillage, whose baillif had his behaviors of days in Messas to return justice.

It is from 1524 that the vault of Messas was definitively set up in church and that the borough was transformed into independent parish (under certain terms of payments of masses, services of offices…).

Economy

Mr Nantois and Mr Thévot are the main motors of the local economy in particular thanks to the culture of potato. We can also quote the baker, thus the bar and the merchant of pizza pies which come on the place from the church Monday evening.
