Mesnil-lès-Hurlus
Mesnil-lès-Hurlus is an old commune of the department of the Marne.
History
The village of Mesnil-lès-Hurlus counted 97 inhabitants in 1911. During the First World War, the village was destroyed. It was raised never again, victim of this war.During the creation of the military camp of Suippes in 1950, the commune was officially removed, and its territory attached to the common neighbor of Minaucourt, which took then the name of Minaucourt-le-Mesnil-lès-Hurlus to perpetuate the memory of the disappeared village.
Geography
Mesnil-lès-Hurlus is in the North-East of the department of the Marne, between Rheims and Verdun, along the road which connected Hurlus via Massiges to Ville-sur-Tourbe.
