Merry Mess
Joyeux Mess is maximum Bérurier Noir left at the end of 1985 on the independent label Bondage. At the time of the exit of this 45 turns (December 1985) it falls from the heavy snowfalls on Paris and the city is blocked by an important strike of public transport. This context of paralysis of the city and the multiple problems while rising encourages the group to baptize ironically the disc Joyeux Mess .
The titles of Joyeux Mess will be compiled thereafter on the version CD of Concerto for Ruined .
In the spirit of the group this maximum is based on the set of themes of the festivals of Christmas. Thus Loran (guitar/song) explains: “It is a disc on Christmas way Bérus, that thus speaks about the Father Christmas (" The Noël" Mother;), of the festival (" Live Feu"), of the log of Christmas (" I do not like the soupe")… And " Hello with You! " , it is the happy new year! ” .
The name given to the disc (referring to traditional the " Merry Noël") and the small pocket (of the snowflakes as decorations and around the 2 clown appear branches of fir tree to which balls are hung) also take part in this idea of set of themes on Christmas.
