Merry France

Merry France , or Gaie France Magazine was a monthly magazine French homosexual, founded in 1986 by Michel Caignet.

Sold in kiosks, Gaie France wanted to be a homosexual review with cultural and political ambitions near of the Nouvelle right-hand side, Michel Caignet (publication director) estimating that “the merry community has a role to play from the point of view of a cultural revival, political and artistic within European civilization”.

The magazine was regarded as one of the principal expressions of the sensitivity of Extrême right-hand side within the French homosexual media.

Gaie France Magazine was interdict with the sale with the minors, by ministerial decree of May 27th, 92, for " incentive with the Pedophilia ". Gaie France ceased its publication in 1993.
