Merindades of the Community Forale de Navarre
The Communauté Forale de Navarre is composed of five merindades which corresponds to administrative and legal cutting inherited old the Royaume of Navarre. These merindades, substituted by the partidos judiciales , does not have any more a legal authenticity today but always constitutes nevertheless a historical and cultural reference mark still long-lived.
