Mercurochrome
The Mercurochrome or merbromin is a powerful Antiseptique. Since 2006, this product is not marketed any more in France and with the the United States.

Solubility
- Water soluble.
- Soluble in the ethanol with the concentration of 0,15 g/L.
- Insoluble in the ether and the Chloroform.
Action disinfectant
One used this molecule in Médecine in diluted form (in water solutions or a water mixture + alcohol), generally to 2%. Often one called this solution the red .

Mercurochrome is today the leader of the market of first aid in great and average surfaces. With a complete range of bandages, disinfecting, of condoms (under the mark Intimy) and of the accessories, this mark diversified around the red history disinfectant.
