Mercedes Ferrer (Madrid, 1963) is a singer (song writer and performer) Spanish activates since 1983.
She studied the contemporary literature with the Sorbonne. Influenced by The Doors, Bob Dylan or David Bowie, it was member of some groups of French music until it returns to Madrid in 1984. It was the time of the Movida , and it meets Carlos Torero and other musicians to form the group the llave, which gains the eighth trophy rock'n'roll of Villa of Madrid in 1985 and passes in first part in the concerts of The Cure.
Later, it begins a career in solo during which it knew characters like Yōko Ono or Nacho Cano, which is the type-setter of the one of his most famous songs Vivimos siempre juntos (“one always lived together”).
In 1991 it settles with New York and in 1993, it returns to Madrid. It took part in several artistic vents, like a homage to John Lennon or to the victims of the Attentats of March 11th, 2004 in Madrid.
