Mercedes-Benz is a German mark of Automobile S and Camion S independent.

History

In 1883 the inventive German Gottlieb Daimler invents the Engine spark-ignition with Wilhelm Maybach with Cannstatt then founds the company Daimler in 1890 with Wilhelm Maybach (Engineer as a chief) and his/her son Paul Daimler who will succeed to him after his disappearance in 1900. In 1896, G.W. Daimler entered the era of the industry of the truck with its first 1.5 ton to back engine. And three years later for Benz.

In 1902 Emil Jellinek, the most important dealer of Automobile Daimler of the Riviera of the beginning of the XXe century deposits and protects officially and legally the trade Mark " Mercedes " first name of his/her daughter then 13 years old and sign a " commercial franchise agreement " for the cars Daimler for the Austria-Hungary, the France, the Belgium and the the United States. In 1931, the models were indicated by the prefix L (for lastwagen). During the War, more than 64000 utility trucks were produced and almost exclusively for the Armée.

Production of Trucks

AMG
