History
Its name comes from the Celt who means the border , the limit , because this village is located at the border of the Canton of Were worth in Suisse, and at the most point of the Savoyard Chablais.With the meeting of three valleys, this country village until the beginning of the 20th century saw its tourist development accelerated by the victory of Jean Vuarnet with the Olympic Games of 1960 with Squaw Valley.
